Graduate Programs
The Master of Arts in Diversity & Inclusion offers professionals expertise in understanding and developing long-term solutions to building diverse and inclusive communities. Grounded in ethnographic methodologies and culminating in an applied capstone, our program seeks to help educate transformational participant-leaders who inspire and empower their communities to learn, collaborate, and construct innovative answers.
Designed for students seeking deeper competence in historical studies, this program prepares graduates for teaching at the high school or community college level for admission to doctoral programs. Students gain advanced research, analytical and critical-thinking skills while pursuing an intellectually engaging liberal education that supports both professional goals and personal fulfillment.
Preparing students to design lessons, develop and evaluate criteria and programs, the Master of Arts in Holocaust & Genocide Education combines deep content knowledge with a strong constructivist pedagogy for use across diverse educational settings. This essential program also supports New Jersey’s Holocaust and genocide education mandate, equipping P-12 educators to teach this content “at the earliest possible moment”.

Rowan University’s Master of Public Policy (M.P.P.) program prepares students for leadership and public servants through applied coursework taught by faculty and public policy professionals.
